Common Sense Health

Hey everybody...I am relatively new to this "blog-thing" but I am excited to be able to bring you fresh and honest ideas.  22+ years of practice and 28 years in Sports Medicine has taught me a multitude of amazing things.  Listening to each and every one of you has made me smarter and more confident about my profession.  I have never been one to "doctor-bash"...but for goodness sake somedays I just shake my head at what MD's are telling their patients.  I am personally at peace with any "bad press" we (chiropractic) may receive.  I know, for a fact, that we are getting people healthy.  We are moving people in the right direction.   Again...I will reiterate...they are good doctors out there.  I personally know some.  But what I hear day-in and day-out really starts to iritate me.  The amount of prescriptions being given is out of hand.  Please have some common sense about this stuff.  I work with patients one at time...but this word has to spread like a virus.  Long term medication use is the path is no where.  Am I wrong?  Be smart.  Be informed.  Eat well.  Exercise.  Smile.  Get adjusted.  Your health is well worth it.  If you don't think so...you get what you deserve.  Dr. D
